I am tired of looking around and seeing so much misinformation about health and wellness out there! So many people are struggling not only with serious health issues, but also with knowing what is true and what is not true, and there just hasn’t been a solid resource created to help them understand how to attain true optimal health and wellness.

So, I decided to become more actively involved in the conversation. Let me explain the what’s, why’s, and how’s right now.

Helping People Heal Was Designed for Holistic Health Seekers!

I started my company, Health Education Resources Network (HER Network) back in 1997 because of a health crisis I had been dealing with for many years (we’ll talk about that in future posts).  The mantra of HER Network is “Helping People Heal”.  I chose that mantra because that is exactly what I wanted to do through the services I offered.  The body has everything it needs to heal itself, and sometimes it just needs a little help.  And sometimes people need a little help knowing what to do to nudge the body towards optimal health.  You see, western medicine typically only helps people with symptoms.  It rarely helps people to get to the root of what is ailing them.  That’s just the way western medicine practitioners are trained.  My goal is to help people by getting to the root cause of their symptoms so they can holistically heal.

I was blessed that God put someone in my path to guide me through my health crisis and help me return to good health after many years of experiencing illness.  Tonja Wells, CNHP stepped into my life in 1997 and walked with me through some very challenging health situations, teaching me everything she knew throughout the process.  She held the keys for me to the missing piece of my business that needed.  She is still my mentor and dear friend today, and I owe everything I know to her and her willingness to pour into me when I needed it most.

It has been and continues to be my pleasure to pay that kindness forward to others who are experiencing all kinds of different health challenges.  I also work with people who aren’t necessarily in crisis but who just want to continue to remain as healthy as they possibly can!  It doesn’t matter where you are on the spectrum.  I can help you.
